Special Initiatives
Marlborough actively works to ensure that our community and school flourish. As a school, and as a testament to our Head of School Dr. Priscilla Sands’ final endeavor prior to her retirement, we set to firmly establish the foundation of two special initiatives that have the potential to lift every Marlborough student’s sights and abilities beyond their biggest dreams.
The Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation Expansion Project
With the mission to design for the greater good and serve the broader community, Marlborough is working to expand access to the CEI’s offerings by creating core curricular courses for all students, expanding the CEI staff, creating an Accelerator program, and building a new Innovation lab focused on fabrication, engineering, and collaboration amongst all disciplines within the CEI program.

Violets for Building Equity in Education (ViBEE) Fellowship
As part of the Special Initiative to increase faculty diversity at Marlborough, funds raised will support A young alumnae of color returning to Marlborough to teach in the subject of their choice under the mentorship of current faculty while simultaneously earning a Masters Degree in Education, fully funded by Marlborough.
